3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. These are small files or pieces of code that recognize your browser and record how you interact with the Site. Some are set by us and some by the third parties below.
| Tool | What it does | Learn more or opt out |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Measures visits and how people use the Site, such as pages viewed, time on page, device type, and approximate location | How Google uses data from sites that use its services · Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on |
| Meta Pixel | Records actions you take on the Site, such as viewing a page or submitting a form. Meta may link this activity to your Facebook or Instagram account so we can measure our ads and show ads to people who have visited the Site | Meta Privacy Policy · Meta ad preferences |
Google and Meta collect this information directly from your browser and use it under their own privacy policies.
You can also limit tracking in these ways:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block all cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as intended.
- Industry opt-out. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
Opt-outs are usually specific to the browser and device you use. You may need to repeat them if you clear your cookies or switch devices.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business receive the information they need to do that work. These include:
- Web3Forms, which processes our form submissions and delivers them to our email. Web3Forms stores submissions for a limited period and uses spam-filtering services that may receive your IP address and email address. See the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
- Our website hosting provider, which stores Site files and standard server logs.
- Our email marketing providers, Mailchimp and Drip, which store our email list and send our emails.
- Analytics and advertising partners. Google and Meta receive usage and device data through the tools described in Section 3. Some state laws may treat this as “sharing” personal information or as “targeted advertising.” Section 3 explains how to opt out.
- Within our business. We share inquiry details with the showroom and team members who will respond to you.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information to comply with a law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KÖV Simply Interiors, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If we merge with, sell, or transfer all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent. We share information in other ways when you ask or allow us to.
We do not rent or trade our email list or inquiry contacts to other companies for their own marketing.
5. Your choices and privacy rights
Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by emailing us. We may still send you non-marketing messages, such as replies to your inquiries.
Cookies and advertising. See Section 3 for ways to limit analytics and advertising tracking.
Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email your request to contactHL@kovinteriors.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable time, and generally within 45 days. We may keep certain information where the law requires or allows it, such as records of a signed project.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights. These can include the right to receive a copy of your information and the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We will honor the rights that apply to you, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them. If we decline your request, you may reply to ask us to reconsider.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond, so the Site does not currently respond to these signals.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Inquiry details are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward. If you become a client, we keep project records as long as needed for business, tax, and legal purposes. Email list information is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising data is kept under the retention settings of Google and Meta.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other websites
The Site may link to websites and social media pages we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to read them.
10. Visitors from outside the United States
We operate in the United States, and the Site is intended for people located here. Some of our service providers process information in other countries. If you use the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and those other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
